Good news, fellow Nevadans! We now have a Taxpayer Pro- tection Caucus in the Legislature. These are folks who boldly signed the Americans for Tax Reform pledge to "oppose and vote against any and all efforts to increase taxes." Now that is principle! Oppose taxes no matter what the situation. Such vision. Strangely, there is no provision to make cuts if more funding is needed. But I suppose these brave souls never think more funding is needed. Vision, I tell you! The ATR says four senators and nine assemblymen have signed the pledge. And the chairmen are Sen. Bob Beers and rookie Assemblyman Ed Goedhart. And who are these 50 lawmakers who haven't signed the visionary pledge? Shouldn't they be hanged?
