David Wright carries his Christmas tree to the recycling pile at Sunset Park. "It's a great use," said his wife, Barbara Wright, "because the parks can use the mulch." "And we can't have a bonfire with it, which was our New Year's Eve tradition back in Arkansas," added David Wright. Christmas trees can be recycled at 19 area locations, which can be found on the Las Vegas Springs Preserve Web site at www.springspreserve.org or by calling (702) 258-3205.
