Letter: Bush, Cheney have Iran in their sights

Let's go back to Oct. 16, 2002, and reiterate a speech by President Bush:
"I have not ordered the use of force. I hope the use of force will not become necessary. Yet, confronting the threat posed by Iraq is necessary, by whatever means that requires ... The Iraqi regime is a serious and growing threat to peace. On the commands of a dictator, the regime is armed with biological and chemical weapons, possesses ballistic missiles, promotes international terror and seeks nuclear weapons."
We have been assured by Defense Secretary Robert Gates , Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, et al., that Bush is not preparing to invade Iran. But, in his Australia trip, the five-deferment Vietnam coward, Vice President Dick Cheney, has left no doubt that "all options are on the table," including military.
Based upon the lies of the Bush administration in the past , I am convinced that invasion of Iran is imminent. That is why I am stunned that the new Democratic Congress has not aggressively pursued the impeachment of Bush and Cheney before they can open a nuclear war in the Middle East.
If anyone, of either political persuasion, thinks that 3,200 dead GIs in Bush's war in Iraq is a lot, think of how many people will die if the two Vietnam cowards start a nuclear war.
