A story in the Sun on Saturday about Nevada Democratic Party Chairman Tom Collins' decision to step down from the post incorrectly reported that Collins was in Carson City for last week's presidential forum. He was in Las Vegas. Also, a photo caption in the Sun on Monday indicated that Collins had already stepped down. He will relinquish the chair after party elections next month. The Sun regrets the errors.
A story Saturday said that neither Lacy Thomas, the ousted chief executive of University Medical Center, nor chief of staff Dr. John Ellerton "has not been charged with any wrongdoing" in ongoing investigations into problems at the hospital. It should have said that neither man has been charged.
