Letter: Border, ports control should be No. 1 issue

The most important thing that should be taking place is not taking place, and that is "closing our borders" and "closing our ports."
One could say, and be correct, that our Congress and our president have put all Americans at "great risk" because of their inability to enforce laws that are already in the books or pass additional laws to protect the citizens of America.
The Statue of Liberty needs a towel to dry her tears, but first let's turn the Statue of Liberty around.
