Letter: Smearing Reid won’t discourage followers

Several months ago the Las Vegas Sun was kind enough to print my letter regarding Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Now I feel compelled to assert my pride in and gratitude for Reid's leadership in the U.S. Senate. Any attempt to smear Sen. Reid will not deter those who follow him.

I also must state my disgust with those, deficient in dignity, who resort to dirty politics. It is difficult to call these people gentlemen. I refer to Rush Limbaugh, the sickest of the lot, who loves to smear politicians who are Democrats. Bill O'Reilly follows suit.

If the Republican Party needs these ranters to represent it, it is sanctioning their raving on radio and is, in essence, supporting hate-mongers who are deficient in truth and dignity.
