Now, more than ever, Jim Gibbons should release those budget recommendations made by agency heads. Gibbons, who cited Richard "Now More than Ever" Nixon in making his case to keep the documents secret, surely was affected by them in his Friday decision to change his cutting plan. So let's see why. What did they propose that so scared him and showed him that the cuts would be devastating? What was it? I am not, like some in the Fourth Estate, an absolutist on such matters. Some documents probably need to be kept private so free discussions can take place. But very few. And certainly not these, which are the predicate for an important decision that affects everyone in Nevada. So what do you think, folks? Will he now release them?
