Letter: Why does left trust intelligence now?
Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007 | 7:06 a.m.
Regarding the National Intelligence Estimate report that Iran has stopped its nuke program:
From where did this info originate? Intelligence agencies. The question is: Are these agencies the same that the left criticized and which reported on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction? The left has never let our agencies forget about that report.
All of a sudden the left and the politicians in Washington are on the intelligence bandwagon. I suggest instead of obtaining all of their vital information from biased liberal news organizations such as The Washington Post, The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times, they read the full report. Base your conclusion on the whole report instead on what the left in D.C. has compiled into talking points.
