A story Monday incorrectly said Assemblyman Kelvin Atkinson, D-North Las Vegas, abstained from voting for a proposal for a public-private partnership that could develop toll roads in Southern Nevada. Atkinson voted against the proposal.
A caption in Monday's paper misspelled the name of Brynne Craig, a Nevada campaign organizer for presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton.
A Sunday story about how the Democratic presidential candidates would address the subprime mortgage crisis reported that Sen. Hillary Clinton wanted to establish a fund of up to $1 billion to help homeowners. It would be $5 billion.
A Saturday story about Nevada's fiscal crisis said the state could tap its rainy-day fund early next year with the Legislature's approval. The Legislature isn't scheduled to convene until 2009.
A caption in Saturday's paper misstated the costs of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The costs may total $3.5 trillion, not $3.5 billion.
A Nov. 29 caption misspelled the name of Las Vegas City Councilman Ricki Barlow.
