I have been amused and amazed at the explosion of cover- age that my interview with GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney has generated . National news outlets covered his comment about letting states such as Nevada be pro-choice if they want, a few weeks after he expressed his support for a human life amendment. The Romney folks tried to suggest there was no inconsistency and friendly commentators backed him up. Romney has enough problems with his abortion position already - he has changed since he was a pro-choice governor. But this one seems simple and should be to anyone who is pro-life: How can you be morally opposed to abortion as the killing of a life but say it's OK if a state decides to allow it?
