FLASHPOINT for Aug 23, 2007

If only Michael Vick lived in Vegas. And who knows? Maybe he will someday, as most miscreants eventually make their way here. Turns out, according to The Washington Post, that Nevada is one of only three states (Georgia and Idaho are the others) where possessing fighting dogs is legal. And only in Nevada could it be legal to possess a fighting dog but be a felony to have a dogfight. Actually, Idaho is the only state where you can have the dog and a fight and get charged with only a misdemeanor. So maybe Vick should end up in Idaho and not here? Then again, Idaho has Boise and white supremacists, and we have Vegas and not as many white supremacists. I bet he chooses here.
