Lost in translation. Why does that seem like a metaphor for the Gibbons administration? Now we learn that a reported gubernatorial trial balloon about the Mexican government paying for illegal immigrant medical costs here was full of hot air. The suggestion has now been thoroughly debunked and was declared dead last week after the governor's trip to Mexico was over. This may not have been completely the governor's fault, but the history is unmistakable. A speech plagiarized from an Alabama state auditor. Boosting empowerment schools without knowing what empowerment was. Not knowing the difference between Turkey and India when it came to an adviser's home country. Lost in translation? I think it works
