Letter: Time to put foot down on dealing with China

A few years ago millions of Chinese-made tots' toys had to be recalled due to the potential hazards created by small pieces that could be swallowed by babies. Then we all remember the recent China-supplied contaminated dog food and then cat food. Now we are facing a massive recall of small toys containing lead-bearing paint. Once again from China.

I think it's beyond the time when the United Nations should be quickly involved and recall China!
