There was a typographical error in a headline in one of Sunday's editorials. The word "deflect," instead of the word "defect," should have been in the following headline: "Republicans stoop to new lows when they use our troops to deflect valid criticisms."
A story Sunday incorrectly reported that officer Nancy Carlin and her K-9 partner , Oscar , work in Metro's detention and enforcement department. Carlin and Oscar work for the city of Las Vegas' detention and enforcement department.
