Keep your major league sports

Who needs major league sports?
Not us. We've already got 'em.
Las Vegas is coming off one of the busiest two-month periods in its sporting history , during which we survived the NBA All-Star Game, had our need for speed satisfied by three major auto races, had our buzzers beaten by two postseason basketball tournaments and watched the Chicago Cubs miss the cutoff man against the Seattle Mariners at Cashman Field.
And that's not even counting UNLV's charge through the Midwest Region bracket, the USA Wrestling Championships, the 51s opening night, an NHL alumni hockey game, ultimate fighting, the Wranglers kicking some serious ice at the Orleans and , last but not least, world championship foosball at the Riviera. Oh yeah, and a few more Gladiators defeats.
Who says it has to end? This week, the Rolex FEI World Cup Finals of show jumping and dressage are on tap at the Thomas & Mack Center.
But when it comes to a wide world of sports in Las Vegas, we're not just horsing around.
