Letter: No way to tell when we’ve won Iraq war

Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., made a comment Thursday on Wolf Blitzer's "Situation Room" on CNN that really got me thinking. He told Mr. Blitzer: If we should win the war in Iraq, exactly who is it that surrenders to us?
Think about that comment.
Who are we fighting? A win over what group would end the war?
It is bad enough that we are fighting a war that is not winnable. It's even worse when it is not clear who waves the white flag. Even if we declare victory over some undetermined foe, how long after we withdraw from Iraq will it be before chaos becomes commonplace once again?
