Letter: Liberals not above name-calling either
Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006 | 7:15 a.m.
In her Sept. 6 letter headlined, "President doesn't deserve mayor's respect," Mary Ann Brim states, "I notice that name-calling must be acceptable when criticizing liberals." Then she goes on to call the president a "dishonest, warmongering human rights violator."
This appears to me to be the exact same thing that she has accused conservatives of doing, only more vehemently. I opine that conservatives are not the only group who are guilty of name-calling and political bashing. If the shoe fits, Ms. Brim, wear it.
The contempt that she and other "card-carrying liberals" have shown toward our president can only be surpassed by the disdain that I and other conservatives have for the policies, ideas and programs of liberals. Yes, I am an ultraconservative in the fashion of Ann Coulter, and damn proud of it.
