I wish Andre Agassi the best as he passes from full-time tennis to other endeavors. It brought tears to my eyes as we all watched him after his tennis loss. But it really was not a loss but a new beginning.
As a past Las Vegas resident, I knew well of his philanthropic ventures with children and the Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation. He is to be congratulated on being a true hero, an outstanding role model, and an all-around nice guy.
If he ever enters politics he would be a statesman, not a bureaucrat ... and that means a lot. I would vote for him any day. I look forward to seeing what he does in the future.
