StumbleLetter: Teachers not the only ones who work hard

In an editorial in Sunday's paper, the Las Vegas Sun wrote that four out of 10 teachers must work summers. Are they supposed to be a privileged group?
My husband worked six days a week for 50 weeks a year to support his family. He had a master's degree and never complained.
I do feel that there are too many parents in Las Vegas who are not involved in their children's education.
