Will someone please tell me how President Bush knows, as he so stated in many campaign speeches, that the Democrats, in taking over Congress, would raise taxes on millions of American citizens?
Is he resorting to the "Karl Rove" fear factor that seems to permeate the Republican agenda?
Are he and his party running so scared that they will resort to any way of salvaging the remains of a disastrous administration?
Regarding the taxes they claim will be raised by a Democratic Congress - well, prove it. Who said it? When and where was it announced? Remember when President Reagan said, "Trust, but verify." Please, Mr. President, let us voters know.
