Letter: Incident shines light on decision-making

Whether or not Rep. Jim Gibbons committed an assault recently is up for Metro Police to determine. However, by his account, he escorted an extremely intoxicated woman, whom he says was unable to walk a straight line and nearly fell (were it not for his swooping in and saving her from the pavement's embrace), to look for her vehicle.
Then, instead of calling her a cab, he left her alone to drive on the valley's roads, endangering her and everyone she may encounter. I'm not exactly sure this is the type of insightful decision-making and leadership we need in Carson City.
