StumbleLetter: Congress misses the bigger issue

Twelve years ago the Republicans said they made a Contract with America. Later, once they ultimately got control of both house of Congress and the White House, it seemed like it became more like a Contract on America.
The last time the Republicans had this kind of control was during the Roaring '20s, and in October of 1929 they gave us the Great Depression.
