Letter: Let the GOP spin begin

With the current Republican scandal in a series of the "Culture of Corruption" with the Mark Foley case, watch out for what Karl Rove has in store to change the subject. Will it be an invasion or bombing of Iran or North Korea?

The GOP must be in a state of panic with the series of unending scandals such as Tom DeLay, Jack Abramoff, "Duke" Cunningham and now Mark Foley, et al. It shall be interesting to see how Rush Limbaugh and Karl Rove, two extremists, will try to spin the Mark Foley scandal on the Democrats, won't it?

Like their prior modus operandi, the GOP extremists will continue to put political power before country.

Let us never, never forget that the GOP rose to power by claiming that they are the party of "moral values."

They must think that ordinary Americans are stupid.
