Letter: Send in more troops

Having read the pros and cons about the Iraq war, why is no one asking the more obvious question? If it's really, really that important that we stay in there and get the job done, why are we not simply instituting a draft to send over as many troops as possible to finish this in half the time? Why put so few soldiers at risk when we don't need to?
We could cut the length of this war, save more lives in the long run, and ultimately get it done less expensively. Or would this actual solution be too politically problematic? If we're supposedly there to get the job done, then let's do it right and move on.
