Letter: Bush too casually looked past risks of war

Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006 | 6:58 a.m.

Before getting the United States into a real war, I think President Bush would have been better off playing the game Risk with Vice President Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice. He would have learned strategies, etc. That would have been a hands-on educational tool for him, far better than just reading books. He could read every book in the library, but if he is just reading words without the comprehension, he would have gained nothing from that exercise.

Perhaps if someone had purchased a board game for Mr. Bush, we would not have all the human casualties now.
