Finally, President George W. Bush goes to Vietnam, now that it is safe to go and he won't be in harm's way. However, he had no problem putting 140,000 of our best young people in harm's way in his war of choice in Iraq, where more than 2,850 are now dead and more than 22,000 wounded, 9,300 of whom are disabled for life.
The dictionary describes avoiding harm's way as cowardice.
