Letter: Solutions respected more than complaints
Thursday, May 11, 2006 | 7:24 a.m.
I can accept dissent against the current administration only with logic and some common sense. Since the election in 2004, I have not heard much logic or common sense from the left. Still hearing from the bad losers about how the election was stolen in 2000, etc. There was a lull from 9/11 for 10 months and our country pulled together for the first time that I can remember during my 63 years.
Then all I could hear was the fact that 3 million jobs had been lost, we all were one paycheck from the soup line, and the worst economy ever - just to name a few dissents.
I have many friends. I have never met a Democrat who was once a Republican. Take my advice and come up with solutions, not dissent, and you might win an election or two. Oh my God, I just won the next election for the left!
