So who loves Hispanics more? Dina Titus or Jim Gibson? Or wants Hispanics to love them more? On Cinco de Mayo, Gibson made a big show of filing, noting the holiday and noting that it is his birthday. Hey, does he get points for that? As for Titus, she announced a new group of Hispanics for Titus, analogous to one she already announced in Northern Nevada. How sweet and thoughtful to do so on this holiday. But it's not her birthday? How will that affect her pitch to the Hispanic community? Of course the message from both candidates is so obvious and patronizing: I love you more than the other person. OK. Politics is politics. Now how about getting them to outline their stances on illegal immigration?
