Letter: Mexican government to blame for migration
Monday, May 1, 2006 | 7:26 a.m.
Mexican citizens are coming over our border like an invading army. The Mexican government has failed its citizens miserably. The country is being run in many areas by drug lords.
Many Mexicans are living in total fear of these criminals. It's time the United Nations takes an active part in this situation. A United Nations force has to enter Mexico and bring that country back into some kind of control.
When Mexican police officers are being beheaded by drug gangs, the situation is totally out of control. This brings us to why Mexico has drug lords. They exist to supply American citizens with their escape from reality and feel-good poison.
The government of the United States has nurtured itself to this whole illegal drug industry coming from Mexico and other parts of the world. It's time the Mexican and American governments get their manhood back and start acting accordingly. A good drug dealer is a dead drug dealer. Amen.
