Letter: Empathy for girls who get pregnant

The abortion debate will never cease because everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Then why waste time? Do something positive.

As a retired physical education teacher I have talked to many frightened children who got pregnant because they were told lies by the "father," who promised they wouldn't get pregnant.

To all anti-abortionists I ask these questions. Have you ever contacted a pregnant girl and worked to help her by offering to help pay expenses? How many abortions have you stopped by adopting the babies that are born to "babies"?

Until you are part of the solution, you are the problem.
