Dawn and Jim Gibbons are becoming quite the quotable family. Recently, Dawn, who wants to be a congresswoman, went on a Northern Nevada TV show and talked about how she voted for a tax increase to protect the Nevada Constitution and used the Dubai story to talk about meth being smuggled in through the ports. Really, she said that. Then Jim, who wants to be governor and has had loose lip problems, came up with this gem to the AP about homeland security: "The question is, are they a victim of their own success. We never want to overestimate our own ability to underestimate our opponents, the terrorists in this case." Really, he said that. They should take this show on the road.
