Letter: Automated system shows cowardice
Wednesday, June 28, 2006 | 7:24 a.m.
Political activist Tony Dane's bashing of the Las Vegas Sun on June 26 in the Nevada section of the Review-Journal is totally ludicrous. The article states that he is a "conservative," and that is very obvious by his remarks / reactions to the Sun.
What he apparently fails to see is that the Sun speaks the truth and attempts to make the readers aware of what that truth is. What we need in this country are more papers with that truth.
The same article in the Review-Journal also stated that Mr. Dane "employs automated phone calls to get his point across. " I, indubitably, had to chuckle over that. Of course he would utilize these means, as he is too afraid he might get some rebuttals to his points / opinions and doesn't have the fortitude to speak one-on-one.
Keep up the good reporting, Sun. You are the first newspaper I read daily.
