So Darren Mack, the cousin of the disgraced former councilman, Michael Mack, has hired David Chesnoff, the law partner of Mayor Oscar Goodman. Let's play that Kevin Bacon game. Goodman got Michael Mack appointed. Goodman's sons represent Mack in business and legal issues, including the infamous IPolitix caper. Mack, Goodman's surrogate son, runs the mayor's PAC. And now Goodman's law partner is defending Mack's alleged killer cousin. Chesnoff doesn't like this game. "That has absolutely nothing to do with it," he told freelancer Steve Friess. "I was hired by him and his family based on my reputation as an attorney. I have not discussed the case with Michael Mack or the mayor." Enough said.
