Letter: Pro-business is pro-Nevada
Friday, June 23, 2006 | 7:17 a.m.
This is in response to Richard Mundy's June 20 letter, "Governor should not put business first":
Just because the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce endorsed Jim Gibbons, who is running for governor, does not mean that he is not concerned about the people of Nevada.
Without business providing jobs so the government can tax us, there will be no money to help the schoolchildren, seniors, the poor, sick and handicapped.
Looking out for business in Nevada is looking out for the citizens of Nevada.
