Could it be that, of all places, Fallon is a hotbed of joint- smokers? Potheads in rural Nevada? Dare I say they need to be in an altered state to live in the cow counties? No, I dare not. But apparently, 'tis true. Turns out the hometown newspaper, the Lahontan Valley News and Fallon Eagle Standard, has endorsed the ballot initiative to legalize marijuana use in Nevada. The Committee to Regulate and Control Marijuana is ecstatic. "We're excited to have the strong support of the Lahontan Valley News and Fallon Eagle Standard," said Neal Levine, campaign manager for the Committee to Regulate and Control Marijuana. I have no doubt, especially since that's the only paper they have so far.
