Jack Sheehan compares those nagging issues today with what bothered Las Vegans in 1981

If Las Vegas residents made a list of the issues that concerned them about life in our city in 2006, it might include most if not all of the following matters:

Now let's flash back to 1981, a quarter century ago, and look at the issues that kept the roughly 650,000 Clark County residents up at night back then.

A quarter century ago we didn't spend four hours a day on the Internet and the rest of the time blabbing into our cell phones. Neither of those absolute necessities of 2006 even existed.

What do you suppose will keep us awake and worrying 25 years from now?
