Letter: Gay marriage: Much ado about nothing
Saturday, June 17, 2006 | 7:43 a.m.
Regarding the subject of gay marriages:
With all due respect, I must congratulate our most esteemed congressmen - Republican and Democrats alike - for bringing out the most important issue facing America today. I'm sure this matter - gay marriage - is at the very top of every citizen's mind. I'm completely awestruck at the intelligence and genius of our elected officials in Washington, D.C.
How in the world are they able to pinpoint the most significant concern of all the people in this country?
Of course, we all know that illegal immigration and border control will be totally forgotten and will take care of itself as usual as time goes by.
