Letter: Society strengthened by gay community

We straights should be supporting the gay community.

Having been born a male or a female was not our choice.

Being born gay is not a choice, either.

The gays are not making babies, overcrowding the school system or going on welfare to support children they cannot afford.

Percentage-wise, the gay community is better-educated, making more money and paying more taxes to support the school system and the needy.

How would you like the government telling you who you could or could not spend the rest of your life with?
