Letter: Border Patrol union boss is off track

Regarding the Sun's May 29 story, "Border Patrol union boss: Tighter border won't help":
Has the head of the Border Patrol agents union seen and heard the anguish that this country has gone through just to get a bill through the House and a bill through the Senate? How can he say that nothing is better than something? He is the worst kind of bureaucrat.
This country cannot stand by while its borders are open, unguarded and unsafe. Something has to change in our immigration policy now, this summer. The people, both legal citizen and illegal foreign nationals, cannot wait for federal agency and political game-playing anymore.
