Letter: Bush does not represent the will of the people
Thursday, July 20, 2006 | 7:28 a.m.
Enough is enough! When are we going to launch an all-out attack on the president's motives? When the majority of the nation agrees that stem-cell research is a worthwhile investment, why does Bush continue to pander to the religious right and why doesn't the mainstream media call him on it?
I'm tired of sitting back and watching as this administration brings America back to the Comstock days of the 1800s. If Bush's reason for finally picking up the veto pen is some Americans consider this murder, how does he come to this conclusion?
These are just a few of the many simple questions we Americans need to ask both ourselves and our government.
