Letter: Both sides of story must always be heard
Wednesday, July 12, 2006 | 7:18 a.m.
Nothing reflects a closed, bigoted mind more than to refuse to read or hear the other side. Letter writers against the Las Vegas Sun (and freedom of speech according to our Constitution) who urge that it not be delivered along with the Review-Journal typify such minds. Are they afraid they might read/hear something disproving their opinions?
There always have been, and hopefully always will be, two sides to every story. The wise person wants to know both sides to make the right choices instead of making a rash decision. Look around you and see what a closed mind and stay-the-course policy has done to our country.
