FLASHPOINT for Jul 11, 2006
Tuesday, July 11, 2006 | 7:30 a.m.
In case you don't know, Jack Carter, who is running for the U.S. Senate, is Jimmy Carter's son. You know, the former president. If you don't know, Carter the Younger will be happy to remind you on the campaign trail. And he will be doing it in a series of introductory ads that are airing a month before the primary. You see, Jimmy taught Jack a lot of stuff about peanut farming and honesty. He's running against Sen. John Ensign, whose father is Mike Ensign, who used to be chairman of Mandalay Resort Group. He taught his son all about the casino business and honesty. So one guy's father was a chairman and the other one was only a president. No wonder Ensign is favored.
