With reports that President Bush will advocate for nuclear reprocessing in his State of the Union, the question again becomes: Is he lying? Before we ask the foremost measurer of Bush balderdash -- Sen. Harry "Bush lied" Reid -- consider that the president does not plan to kill Yucca Mountain in the Tuesday address to the nation. But this may show some of the fruits of the delay-delay-delay strategy over the years by the delegation, combined with the DOE's ineptitude. Still, this may be only an interim -- remember that word? -- solution as the Bush folks continue to push for the dump. Maybe he'll tell us Tuesday. Or maybe he will -- what's the word again, Sen. Reid? -- oh yes ... lie.
