Letter: Kerry, Gore couldn’t be any worse than this
Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006 | 12:31 p.m.
Regarding Robert H. Miller's Feb. 14 letter, "We'd be worse off with Gore or Kerry":
I wish that Mr. Miller could have enlightened those of us who don't have his crystal ball: Just what is it that's "disgustingly apparent" that we'd be worse off with Al Gore or John Kerry as president?
This administration is, without question, the most corrupt I've known in my years on this planet. They have left us with something no other administration has - overwhelming debt that will impact our children and beyond.
Most importantly, no crystal ball is needed to see the obscenity of 2,269 dead American military members and more than 20,000 maimed permanently; the legacy grows.
Also, just a small correction: President Bush has only been elected by the public once, four years after he had been installed in that position by the right-leaning Supreme Court, even though he lost the popular vote. Those four years of propaganda were sufficient to fool enough voters for a small majority. Care to speculate on how he'd do today? Pick any opponent ...
