Letter: Counting down the days until term ends

Unfortunately for America, Robert H. Miller's Feb. 14 letter typifies the mentality of those in the red states who were able to find enough others with similar mentality to bring the Bush-Cheney gang back for four more years.

Mr. Miller says we would be much worse if we elected Al Gore or John Kerry. It's that kind of biased, politically misdirected and totally unconscionable fear-mongering that has put our country in the mess we're in. Thirty-five months to go and counting.
