I think Bob Beers deserves to be governor. Jim Gibbons and Lorraine Hunt do not. The former GOP contender is willing to debate his opponents and appeared on "Face to Face" on Wednesday. Problem was that Gibbons and Hunt refuse - Gibbons because he is the front-runner (probably smart campaign strategy) and Hunt because Gibbons wasn't there (probably not smart campaign strategy). Unless these candidates -- and their Democratic counterparts Dina Titus and Jim Gibson -- agree to a series of debates from now until the primary and general elections, they are not fit to serve. I understand campaign tactics. But this is just embarrassing for those who want to hold the state's most important office.
