What happens when a mayor hosts a fundraiser for someone challenging a county commissioner? People get angry. And I understand county folks are spitting mad at Mayor Oscar Goodman and five councilmen for headlining the event for Assemblywoman Chris Giunchigliani. I hear those same county types will be watching to see who shows up for the woman challenging Commissioner Myrna Williams. "I know many at the county will be interested in who is stupid enough to attend that event, which is a tremendous insult to Myrna and to Clark County, as six out of seven commissioners don't want to serve with a socialist," opined one county insider. Now them's fightin' words.
