One of the important ingredients of successfully running an institution, whether it be a private business or any facet of government, be it on a local, state or federal level, is the efficiency of how it is being run.
Efficiency is only attainable by having checks and balances in their proper perspectives. This is where I believe the Clark County School District is coming up short in the education of the students. I do not believe the proper checks and balances can be attained at present.
Why? Because of the coziness entrenched between the School Board and the teachers union.
