FLASHPOINT for Dec 12, 2006
Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006 | 7:15 a.m.
It's not even 2007 yet, but 2008 is right around the corner. And as Nevadas presidential caucus revs up the Democratic Party has pilfered Iowa expertise to help run the second-in-thenation caucus the question is who gets the Culinary Union masses. The National Journal reports "there is no consensus labor candidate." But the publication pointed out that ex-Sen. John Edwards helped the Culinary parent pass minimum wage and other union initiatives. SEIU, which made a showing here recently, "has no horse in the race," National Journal reported. And guess who is about to reach out to labor? Hillary Clinton. And then theres Barack Obama, who will find a following in Southern Nevada if he runs. This will be fun, folks.
