Letter: Alcohol at airports worse than smoking
Friday, Dec. 8, 2006 | 7:11 a.m.
Regarding the Las Vegas Sun's Dec. 6 story, "Airport not blowing smoke":
When are they going to ban alcohol at airports? I have never heard of a passenger having a couple of smokes and then getting on a plane and creating a scene, becoming agitated or attacking an attendant.
But I have heard of passengers who sat in the bar drinking, passing time, and then getting on the plane and causing big problems. No alcohol should be served at the airport or on the plane if smokers have to wait for theirs also. I am much more afraid of a drinker than I am of someone who had a cigarette.
